Phoenix Marketcity

Situated in the heart of Mumbai, Phoenix Marketcity is one of the Biggest malls in the city.

Objective / Challenges

Create more traction in terms of social media, revamp traditional approach to showcasing decor setup, events &  hosted in the retail space.

Approach

We used a storytelling format & ditched the static video style while incorporating cinematic shots to grab the audience's attention. We started by revamping the outdated Brand AV by combining fresh pictures and infographic animation. We Edited the long-format video content into bite-sized pieces, which would ensure better audience retention. We created a brand new Logo animation to be used as an intro/outro representing the phoenix emerging from the ashes. We Reshot the entire range of Retail space (Kurla & Pune) portfolios for revamping the official website. We approached each project as though we were narrating a story by creating mood boards/screenplay, incorporating scripts and professional voiceovers.

Result

• Over 1 Million+ footfall gained.

• Significant increase in user generated content & overall engagement on social channels.

• Created a standard marketing protocol for other retail spaces in the city to later copy and standardize it themselves. 

Route 999

New Year Eve Event Conceptualized by Event Companies RED Letters & Mama Shankuni

Objective / Challenges

Create the IP brandmark & collaterals. Offline and online event promotions, Create sponsor & Marketing pitch presentations, artists & vendor negotiations, generate sales revenue for the event. Compete with bigger Event IPs like Sunburn, Enchanted Valley Carnival & VH1 Supersonic. All this in a timeline of just 1.5 Months.

Approach

Since the IP was brand new & Mama Shakuni was only a few-year-old startup. We approached only those sponsors, artists & vendors who resonated with the entrepreneurial hustle and created a compelling pitch for them using the emotional quotient as the driver to lock in as many pro-bono / barter deals to reduce overall costs. We tied up with known event sales execs in the market & experienced event agencies like RED Letters and offered them better margins and thus got them working for us rather than our competitors. We cross-promoted it at other events like collegiate festivals and bars & hosted a pre-promotion event @Playboy Club Mumbai to generate further buzz. Post conceptualizing event collaterals, I formed and directed a team of 12 cinematographers & photographers to capture the making, highlights & essence.

Result

• Over 7000+ footfall generated.
• Created Principal Brand case study & Portfolio Projects for the MarCom agency & the Video Production Company Involved
• Competing with major IPs Like VH1 Supersonic & Sunburn while hosting artists like Miss Faith performing @ the famous Playboy Club, Mumbai, and for the main event hosting then upcoming artists like Ritviz & Anish Sood ( Anyasa ) along with the evergreen artist like Nucleya, headlining the event while all of which conceptualized on a whim and hosted in 1.5 months, is a feat in itself.
